I came here with 2 other friends on a wednesday morning around 10am and there was no line! We were also able to secure seating almost immediately (it's pretty small inside). I ordered a pistachio cream pastry and a cardamom bun and they were both pretty good but the pistachio cream definitely got a little much towards the end. I would recommend splitting this one with someone. The cardamom bun was less fragrant than the Juno Bakery version but it was softer and tasted more flavorful!

This is one of the oldest bakeries in Copenhagen, and I couldn't leave Denmark trying trying a Danish pastry before leaving. So naturally, my friend I came here twice during our short stay. Everyone else in Copenhagen knows what's up because this place was crowded and had a small line a couple hours after opening. If you wait till noon, you'll be left with cinnamon rolls (which is still a fantastic option). The pastries here are phenomenal - warm, soft, perfectly sweet. Absolutely worth a transatlantic flight over.

Ambiance: 3/5 Service: 5/5 Food: 5/5 This place definitely deserves all of the hype it receives! I came on a weekday morning and was surprised to have to wait in a line but luckily it went by quick. The space itself is quite small with only a few tables available so I would say it's best to be prepared to get some goodies for takeaway in case you can't snag a table. Once I got to the front of the line I was overwhelmed with all of the delicious goodies they had to offer so I went with the recommendation of the lady working at the front and was so glad! The pastry was warm and perfectly soft, I still dream about it to this day. I can't wait to go back!

For my first cinnamon roll in Copenhagen, I thought I should try it from the oldest bakery in town. My first impression was that it's definitely less sweet and yeasty than the NA version, with the texture being more bread-like. I have to admit that the outer part was a bit too dry for my taste, but the closer you got to the center, the better it tasted, especially in combination with the cinnamon sugar. It's a good roll for sure, and the price point is quite low at 26DKK, with plenty of locals stopping by (always a good sign), however I don't know if I would consider it extraordinary.

This place was highly recommended by Yelp community. We went two days ago in the afternoon but the store was closed because they sold out all the pastries. We went again this morning, and of course we did try four different kinds of pastries. The sausage bead was so so, nothing special, but the rest of the pastries were very delicious. The creamy one with berries was very smooth and not too sweet. The cardamom roll was fantastic, so yummy. The famous cinnamon roll was just okay to me. I highly recommend this place.

When in Denmark, eat pastries, especially a danish made by Danish! This bakery is near a church, hence its name and is a game changer. Ordered a coffee, an irresistible chocolate croissant, and a life changing cardamon danish pastry. No misses, all hits. That cardamon pastry is a game changer. Order it! If I had more time I'd order 3 more. We'll surely be back here one day just not sure when.

We couldn't resist trying a Danish bakery while in Denmark, so we checked the reviews and decided to visit Skt. Peders Bageri. It's the oldest bakery in the country and quite a small place, so most people take their orders to go. The pastries are extremely delicious, and despite the line, it moves quickly. This cute neighborhood bakery is where you'll see regular Danish folks grabbing a morning bite. Everything looks so good that you'll want to try it all! We weren't disappointed at all.

The best bageri in the city we tried. Part of it was due to the variety of pastries too (many others had a lot of similar options). Everything we tried was flaky, not overly sweet, and just the right amount of filling + bread. Coffees were good too. The inside has several small seats - doesn't look like they ever clean the place. Pastry flakes everywhere, but ignore that and focus on the delicious pastries!

The oldest bakery in Copenhagen, of course I had to see what the hype is about. This is the first place we went to after reaching the city, in the afternoon, and although it was empty when we arrived, it became crowded shortly after. The space is quite small but as we were there earlier than others, we had the couch area to ourselves. They have so many options on display so we asked the baker to recommend their most popular items and they did good! We tried their cinnamon rolls, cardamom and pistachio buns and holy moly, they were delicious. It lived up to my expectations, and more! The location of this bakery is also perfect. The street where it is located has beautiful colorful houses.
